If you suffer from urinary incontinence or loss of bladder control,
you're not alone. More than 13 million women in the United
States have urinary incontinence at some point in their
lives. It can affect you at any age, but is not a "normal"
part of getting older. You don't have to accept it, and
your doctor can do something about it.

If you answered yes to any of these questions,
we may recommend a bladder evaluation which may include:
- A detailed history
- A physical exam
- A urine culture
- Urodynamic Testing
Urodynamic testing is performed in our office. This
test helps our physicians obtain an accurate diagnosis
of what type of incontinence you may have. This is
essential to provide the best treatment for your bladder
problem.
Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is very treatable
at any age. There are currently no medications approved
to treat SUI in the United States. Our physicians may
recommend Gynecare TVT for you. This is a minimally
invasive procedure that is done in same day surgery.
Recovery is quick and you should be back to a regular
routine shortly.
